It is up to the Board to examine the applications for membership in UECBV. The Board decides to accept them on the basis of three criteria:

1. The applicant shall produce validated Articles of Association as proof that the applying organization exists,
2. The applicant shall be representative enough at regional or national level in the native country or at international level,
3. The applicant shall agree on all the articles of the UECBV Articles of Association, the Rules of Procedure and all decisions made by the Association’s bodies.
