Dear UECBV Member,
We are delighted to confirm to you that the 2022 UECBV Conference and AGM will take place in Dublin, Ireland from 19-21 October. This will be the 70th anniversary of UECBV and we are looking forward to marking this milestone with you.
This years' event is being organised jointly by our members: Bord Bia (Irish Food Board) and Meat Industry Ireland.
While further details on the conference (including the itinerary, costings, partner programme & booking website) will be circulated to UECBV members in due course, the Irish organisers are strongly encouraging attendees to reserve their hotel accommodation as soon as possible (as accommodation in Dublin books up quickly). In this context, please find attached a brochure from the organising committee with details of:
· High level overview of the programme & activities: this includes start times for UECBV meetings on Wednesday 19th October and estimated time of conclusion of the optional site visit/tour on Friday 21st October.
· Location of Conference and venue for UECBV meetings: Both are located in the Ballsbridge area in Dublin 4. See map in attached brochure.
· Hotel information in the local area: This includes website information, walking distance from both venues, approximate prices and discount codes. There are other hotel / accommodation options in Dublin also, should delegates wish to consider alternatives.
UECBV will update you further once the conference & social programme are finalised and the booking website is available. In the meantime, delegates are advised to reserve accommodation.
