Trade

UECBV is actively involved in trade matters as one of its core objectives is to achieve an optimum business climate for the livestock and meat industry across the European Union and globally. UECBV is committed to strengthening the EU Single Market, which represents an outstanding opportunity to promote a level playing field across the EU. Also, UECBV specifically deals with issues concerning the import and export in its international trade section. Not only do the EU livestock, meat trade and industry have to focus on the Single Market, but they also have to keep track of the global market due to the close interaction between these two markets. Therefore, UECBV regularly monitors the trade flow and trade policy developments across the EU and Third Country trade partners in order to best promote the EU and international trade. Both are key factors in maintaining the market balance.
