The UECBV has a monitoring mission on social affairs at European level. It informs its members primarily through its newsletter. The secretariat is supported, if necessary, by a working group on social affairs, which includes UECBV members willing to discuss social issues, such as training, labour safety, the attractiveness of the sector, ... This group is chaired by Mr. Richard Van der Kruijk (COV, Netherlands).
