The AEMB board is elected, for two years, by the General Assembly and is composed of a president, 2 secretary generals, 2 vice-president, the treasurer and one member per country not already represented. Among the various persons, in the Board there must be at least one member of Belgian nationality.
The Board implements the decisions of the General Assembly. It deals with current business, considers applications for membership and makes recommendations. It also proposes exclusions. During the Board meetings, the annual budget is prepared and submitted, together with comments, to the General Assembly.

The President is elected by the General Meeting for a term of two years. The outgoing President cannot be reelected twice consecutively. All resolutions of the Board shall be taken by a simple majority of members present or represented.
