Equine Conference in the European Parliament |

UECBV is promoting the next Equine Conference in the European Parliament, room PHS 5B001, on 16th October 2018, at 4:30 pm. The conference is co-organised by EHN, FEEVA, UECBV and World Horse Welfare.
UECBV will deliver a presentation at the conference.
MEPs Julie Girling and Jean Arthuis, as hosts of the conference, have chosen to focus on ‘Responsible Care Throughout the Life of Equines - from breeding to the end of life'.
The conference will offer a discussion platform where invited experts from the veterinary, agriculture, equine welfare, sport and racing sector, meat industry will present both the current challenges and solutions to tackling responsible care throughout the equine sector.
This event, co-organised by UECBV, is another one in the long list of UECBV initiatives in order to find solutions adequate for the welfare of horses, the meat industry, and the EU consumers regarding the exclusion of certain horses from the food chain.
